Honoring DJ Thornlow with a Memorial Bench
DJ often spent time at Washington Park with his daughter and long-time partner, cooking, listening to music, and relaxing by the water. He also called Cap Sante Marina home on his sailboat, spending countless hours on the water there.
To honor his life, we hope to place a memorial bench at either Washington Park or Cap Sante Marina—two places that were deeply meaningful to him. This will be a lasting spot where family, friends, and the community can sit, reflect, and remember DJ.
Any contribution, big or small, will help us create this special space in his memory. Thank you for helping us honor his life and keep his spirit alive in the places he cherished most.

Contact Your State Legislators
One of the most impactful ways you can help is by contacting your state legislators. Ask them if they are aware of this case and what their position is on it. Share your concerns about why Washington state allows individuals charged with violent crimes to be released on low bail amounts.
Your voice matters—by reaching out directly, you can help raise awareness, encourage accountability, and push for changes that better protect our communities.
